My sims 3 keeps crashing

My sims 3 keeps crashing at a certain time, I downloaded some cc's because I thought it would work, but after 3 days, it started to crash. Last time I used the NRAAS mod it still kept happening and I didn't play with any mods and change all my settings. I don't know why this keeps happening but I keep following tips but it still doesn't work. I also have the smooth patch mod but I don't think thats the reason. Please help! (My computer is a Yoga 7 16iRL8 Windows 11, version 24H2)

  • @Ah110507  What exact time does the game crash?  Please also list the specific mods you currently have installed.  If you're willing and you haven't already, please add NRaas ErrorTrap, Overwatch, and MasterController.

1:37 am. I have the smooth patch and the Sakura pink mod. I put some clothes in the download folder too I don't know if that's one reason. I have 34 cc's  in my package folder too.

@Ah110507  Try playing without any custom content.  This could be a cc issue, or it could be something else, but this is a useful test.  If it doesn't help, let me know what world you're currently playing in and whether you're willing to add the mods I listed.

I took out everything and it still crashed, it crashed at 1:27 my mistake. I was playing in the late night expansion pack. I have all my packs enabled though. (World adventures, university life, seasons, pets, island paradise, high-end loft stuff, and monte vista). I will add back the NRAAS mods as well.

@Ah110507  I would suggest running an NRaas MasterController town reset (NRaas > MC > Town Options > Reset Everything) a few sim-minutes before the usual crash.  It's possible a sim is getting stuck in an elevator somewhere or otherwise having a routing failure.  If the MC reset helps, great.  If not, I'd be curious as to whether the crash still happened at exactly the same time or was pushed back a bit.

@Ah110507  Please install NRaas ErrorTrap and Overwatch, if you haven't already.  If the crash happens at the same time again, look for a scripterror notification that happens immediately before the crash, say, within five to ten sim-minutes.  If you see one, take it to the NRaas site and ask for help.

If you don't get a scripterror, install NRaas DebugEnabler.  At 1:22, pause the game, click City Hall, and select NRaas > DE > Options: City Hall > Dump Alarms.  This will create a scripterror as well, but a different kind.  Take that to the NRaas site and ask for help.

In either case, when you're creating your post, drag and drop the file icon itself into the text window.  (Don't open the file and c/p the text.)  It should upload on its own, and whether you see it in the text window or not, the people who help on that site should be able to find the upload.
