Sims 3 Launcher issues

Hi I am trying to download my world pack off the sims 3 store, I have redeemed them but when I try and download the launcher is just not having it, it either won't let me click anything without closing or looks like its going to start the download with the button greyed out then when I hover over the others they're greyed out too then it crashes again! I have tried moving the download folder out, clearing the cache, moving the DCCbackup folder out etc and even moving the whole sims3 folder to my desktop. I am on Mac also it may be worth noting! thank you

    I'm having the exact same issue. I tried for HOURS last night to make it work. I remember having a similar issue downloading Roaring Heights a month ago but did eventually get it to work. I can't get Hidden Springs or Monte Vista downloaded - not in the game launcher, and not in the game either. I'm pretty disappointed.
