My Sims game won't load (stuck on connecting)

Hi Team! Please help. I have the Sims 3 on my origin account and when I load the game it has been stuck on "connecting" for days! ive tried reloading and repairing the game with no success. I wish I could just turn off the connecting thing. Can someone please help ☹️

    @ideer1  Go into Applications > Utilities, open Keychain Access, search for sims , and delete any entries that include sims3 .  This should remove the saved password and therefore the attempts to connect.
