New Members still Can't Post On Official Forums

Can someone request @SimGuruDrake over at the official forums to let new members post again? It's not our fault that spambots attack, and I am fed up that I have to suffer for it.

No problem, I didn't think it was directed towards any of us here.

I just wanted to clarify that it would probably be no use letting Drake know as I'm sure she's aware of the inconvenience it has.

I don't work for them so I don't know what's going on in details but their last measurement obviously didn't help so they revoked access until they figure out something new or can put new measurements in place.

I do agree that the New Member status should be handled differently as many have registered years ago but haven't posted since the new forum and hence are considered a new member. Time should play a role in your status.

  • Hi,

I'm pretty sure she's aware of that and that it was revoked on purposes.

I'm pretty sure she's also aware that it's not your fault but it was the measurement they had to take to keep them at bay, especially over the weekend.

I hope that there will be some clarification on Monday.

  • Thank You for the reply. Yes I do know this was the measurement they thought was good for the time, but it was still a poor measurement. If that was the best solution then they really need to add a robot checker or something. That measurment was unfair, and I already feel discriminated as a new member status, despite being registered for over 5 years, and the fact I can't even post was absolutely ridiculous. I apologize if I seem like I am ranting to you but I had to get this off my chest at some point. Thanks again for the reply.
