I'm not sure if this made a difference this time or my MTS mods were the problem.
I do want to re-iterate that I have a ton of Twallan mods still installed (NOT the 4 problem ones).

Quick question...how do you remove the store fixes?

Documents/ElectronicArts/TheSims3 There's a folder Titled "Content Patch". That's what I assumed it was. I removed that folder.

No, that's not what you're after. The store fixes are in my documents/electronic arts/sims 3/mods/packages, but only if you manually installed them. They are not ea.

But if you deleted your mods folder and then your class schedule appeared, I'm gonna assume that you did install them. In the packages folder, you're looking for these three:
StoreFix_DecrapFixes
StoreFix_Fixes
StoreFix_UnAwesome

Delete them. This won't delete store content, just reactivate all the bugs ea hasn't fixed yet.

Btw, I have nraas mods installed and they seem safe so far. Granted I haven't played much yet, but at least they don't contribute to this bug.

AHA! Thanks. Yes, those were in a folder I removed. I'm going to reinstall the rest of my stuff and see if I still have a class schedule. Thanks!

Yes this is a quick fix, and will work for class schedule issues,but you installed those fixes for a reason. Now the rest of you cc that you installed the fixes for won't work properly or at all. I hope this solution comes quickly.

I would personally rather have a few Store items not work properly than not have an entire expansion not work properly. :\

So I guess the big answer we've gotten so far is "Store Fixes for Premium Content cause problems"?

I have lots of mods and they all still seem to work fine and properly. besides the ones that have been mentioned which I didn't have anyway. Yes it's a quick fix but that's what I want at least until EA has a permanent one. Anything would probably be a quick fix until EA fixes these problems.

No it's not fun to play with a broken game, that's exactly what I meant. I will be playing sims, just not University Life, until there's an update. I'm sure there will been an update very soon. That's just my choice. Anyone who really wants to play, should take out the fixes. It's really seems to be the only option right now.

I am tired and frustrated over all these reinstalls and then reinstalling a whole lot of store content. Will start testing my MODS tomorrow by process of elimination ( would bet the farm it's a MOD issue and not a store issue.

You're misunderstanding, I'm afraid. When you launch the game, there are game patches which ea releases periodically. They are official and have nothing to do with this.

The problem isn't the official EA patches, but a series of mods that fix bugged store content. They are not official, and will be found in your mod folder, though I guess you already deleted it entirely.

Good luck with your reinstall, but try a shortcut when you install you mods by just keeping these three files out. Good luck, and I hope you get back to playing soon.

I actually kinda doubt that ea will fix this as it isn't a problem with their content. Well, it is, but the store items have been glitched forever and they never fixed them so why would they start now?

We aren't waiting for an ea update, just the mods, and I would rather play university than use my sushi stove, but of course that's everyone's prerogative.

Ok hun, but I don't understand you say you didn't have thoses fixes anyway, but you posted that you deleted them. How could you delete them if you never had them. Just a little confused. BAW,hope u enjoy playing University. That's the whole point anyways. Just hope there's an update soon so we all can enjoy it mod or no mods. :D

This is a pain. I've been dealing with the empty food booths from seasons. I want everything to work, they never fixed the broken mud bath or massage table so of course I had to download a fix for that. It's unfortunate that I have to sacrifice premium items that I paid good money for, for a working ep.

Thanks for the tip & yes I did misunderstand about the store fixes (sorry about that). All my reinstalls are done will follow your suggestion on my MODS folder.
