No it's not fun to play with a broken game, that's exactly what I meant. I will be playing sims, just not University Life, until there's an update. I'm sure there will been an update very soon. That's just my choice. Anyone who really wants to play, should take out the fixes. It's really seems to be the only option right now.

I actually kinda doubt that ea will fix this as it isn't a problem with their content. Well, it is, but the store items have been glitched forever and they never fixed them so why would they start now?

We aren't waiting for an ea update, just the mods, and I would rather play university than use my sushi stove, but of course that's everyone's prerogative.

Not an ea update, I meant an update from mod-makers, like an updated fix.

and ive already reset my sims before. that progress bar STILL never showed up..

Yes this is a quick fix, and will work for class schedule issues,but you installed those fixes for a reason. Now the rest of you cc that you installed the fixes for won't work properly or at all. I hope this solution comes quickly.

I have lots of mods and they all still seem to work fine and properly. besides the ones that have been mentioned which I didn't have anyway. Yes it's a quick fix but that's what I want at least until EA has a permanent one. Anything would probably be a quick fix until EA fixes these problems.

Ok hun, but I don't understand you say you didn't have thoses fixes anyway, but you posted that you deleted them. How could you delete them if you never had them. Just a little confused. BAW,hope u enjoy playing University. That's the whole point anyways. Just hope there's an update soon so we all can enjoy it mod or no mods. :D

I'm sorry if I mis-typed or was misunderstood. Probably on my end. I'm just saying that I also play with a lot of cc and mods. I just haven't played with the ones that have been specified... Twallan and I think another that was mentioned. But I do have some MTS mods. I'm saying that I deleted the store files not the mods since like you said I didn't have in the first place...once again my mistake if I mis-typed. I agree 100% with you about with mods...some ppl like playing with them...some don't and I'm with you and once these particular mods are updated I'm going to look into them since it seems lots of people have them.

You don't need to get rid of you mods, just the store fixes. You can have all your cc back, you just can't use the store content you bought. And EA won't be patching this (or I'll be very surprised for once, which hasn't happened with them...)

havent bought my own ep since late night and now im regretting it.

i havent been able to play this game once.
its super slow, and when i FINALLY get to uni, no classes.
whats the point??
been trying this for a total of 10 hours..
this is such a waste of my time..

Hooray! I added back in all my mods, except for those 3 fix files. It worked, and I have classes!
What doesn't work mods or no mods is the progress bar. I still have to resetsim to get it to show up. Not too horrible to deal with though.

After trying for hours upon hours, I FINALLY got my schedule to show up!

I tried taking out my whole mods folder, which did actually work. Both the schedule and progress bar would show up, but well... none of my mods would (obviously). I was willing to live with that for the sake of my game working correctly, until I decided to try the store fix thing.

It worked! I removed my three Store Fix packages - found in the mods folder - and even got to keep the rest of my mods, and everything works like a charm! (Here's to hoping I'm not jinxing myself for the next time I load the game.)

I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work when really I didn't have any 'actual' mods, only CC hairs and clothes, and a few decor items. But it all makes sense now :)

So, I HIGHLY recommend hunting down those pesky store fixes and removing them.

On a side note, I still have to use the "resetsim" cheat for the progress bar to show up. So I'm guessing that is a bug/glitch all on its own?

just played, i deleted the store fixes, and reset my sims.

no progress bar and NO CLASS SCHEDULE.
