No class schedule

Not only did i remove my mods folder completely, i deleted caches, restarted the computer, used resetSim, dropped out of uni and re-enrolled and abolsolutly NOTHING works. Even when trying to run it with absolutly not a shred of custom content or mods i just cant seem to get a schedule. i reset sim a million times. i even tried enrolling her useing the aptitude test first vs not doing that. i also tried getting her to live in different places. Nothing works. Someone please help :(

My class schedule is blank and I do not have the travelor mod. Only relativity and overwatch.

None of these strike me as a problem. Did you update YAWN again for patch 1.50 ? That might be the only one that could maybe be responsible.

I suggest to everyone that still has the problem to rename the documents folder and let the game create a new one. Then start a new game with a new Sim and see if you still have the issue.

Don't mess around with taking stuff out and back in and use existing games, just start completely fresh and no, reinstalling the game is not necessary. If you still have the issue then, post back. If you don't, you can start putting your savegame back and see if it goes away. If you have a backup from before you went to uni, use that.

Okay, I tried a few things.

First simply moving the mods folder did not work for my old save, nor did it fix anything for a brand new save (in retrospect, not sure why not? I did delete caches btw). So I thought it must not be mod related until...

I went ahead and renamed the entire sims 3 folder. Started a new save with completely fresh start and finally a class schedule appeared :)

I then copy pasted my old save into the new sims 3 folder and tested both saves together (with no changes in between, just quitting to menu and loading the other save). The new fresh start save worked, the old save did not.

And finally, I reintroduced my mods folder and tested the new save, and the problem reappeared a little differently. Instead of blank schedule, I couldn't even get the schedule to come up (pressing the button didn't do anything).

So my guess is, it is mod related, and it does corrupt old save games. I have yet to find a way to play with my mods and without this issue. One last thing I'll try is going back to a save from before university now and see what that does...

So in short, a complete break is the only way I was able to solve this. Good luck.

Ps. I have a long list of mods and I have little hope of figuring out which it is without testing. But seeing as there's so many people here, I can't help but wonder if it isn't something popular...

Add me to the list of "people whose game isn't working no matter what".

Tried the following:

- All mods installed (Nraas essentials to fix things like too many babies in houses/routing/lots and lots of cars; no Traveller), all store content installed
- BRAND NEW INSTALL (progress bar, no schedule)
- Mods removed, store content still in (see above)
- Everything removed, oooold file (see above)
- Everything removed, new file (see above)

As of right now, the best I can get is that progress bar on the side. What really bugs me, though, is that I have to do a bunch of extracurriculars constantly to make up for missing classes/exams. Luckily, I can do things involving the "social groups". Essentially everything is going well except for this missing classes issue.

I'm hoping this doesn't have anything to do with store content, considering how I have so much of it.

I'm having the same problem but I'm also missing the backpack and all the unplayable Sims, that are in the same dorm, moved into my active family.

1. Was this a new save, or a save you have been playing for awhile?

I don't have Katy Perry, Diesel and Seventies etc. Stuff Packs

3. Did you have any exchange content on your Sims?
Nope

4. How many Sims did you send to school, What majors did they pick, How many credits, and Did they have any Scholarships?
Two sims, science and technology major, 24 credits, scholarships

I usually play with mods, but I took them out. I have some store content and very little CC, but I took out the mods-folder as well. I have already reinstalled but it still doesn't work.
And I think this really sucks.

Completely forgot about filling this out! Oops~

1. Tried both a new save and an old save. Will be trying a brand new save after having taken out all my other saves and see what happens.

2. I have all EPs, Master Suite, High End...I'm pretty sure that's it.

3. Exchange content, no. Custom content, yes. Tried playing without it, no change. Large amount of store content (almost everything).

4. Sent two Sims at first (One in Communications no scholarship full credits, the other Fine Arts scholarships full credits). After deleting caches, sent both home. Re-enrolled Fine Arts with the same things, still no schedule.

Have taken out my old saves and all of my mods, so the game should see this as pretty much fresh (store content doesn't count as mods, right?). Will report back with what happens. C:

I have the same issue!

I played with a save, I have all EPs and I took out my mods folder.I tried with different sims and none of them got a class schedule.

So the main thing of this EP doesn't work...
