Can you provide me with the exact model number (not serial number) of your computer so that I can check to see what audio drivers are available for your particular setup. It should be something like HP Pavilion dv5-xxxxxx.
In the mean time, you can also check your in-game audio settings in the 'Option' menu under the speaker tab, and try setting your audio quality to 'high' and making sure that you have selected the proper speaker setup for your audio configuration to see if that makes a difference.
