It's a bit of a mixed bag right now to be quite honest. For some people a driver update immediately and permanently fixes the problem, while for others there is no change at all. A couple people have even reported the no sound bug sporadically fixing itself without even having performed a driver update. With results this wide and varied, and with no discernible pattern emerging, it is going to be hard to determine exactly which computer configurations can benefit from an audio driver update to resolve the no sound bug.
