Nothing concrete yet. Performing an audio driver update is random at best. I have been checking in with a couple of people who have reported a driver update resolving the issue, and so far the issue is still appears to be resolved for them, but only time will truly tell.
The problem with this issue is that there is no consistency in anything. Not in a possible fix, and not even in how the bug itself behaves. I've just given the entire thread a major overhaul with more organized information, and will be contacting EA later today to open a case on behalf of everyone here. If I come across a valid solution, I'll be sure to let you know. :)
