Sorry for being late. I just read Cinebar's post about the LN wall speakers. I face this also but the no sound issue with that can easily be solved by reseting(*) the wall speakers. So that's no driver issue there but just crap code. Maybe it is (was?) the same with the karaoke machine.
(*): How to reset an object:
1. Install Twallan's Debug enabler (http://nraas.wikispaces.com/DebugEnabler)
2. Click on the object
3. Choose NRaas from the pie menu
4. Choose "Debug Enabler"
5. Chose "Options:{ObjectName}"
6. In the next menu choose "Object"
7. In the next menu choose "Reset"
Or in case you have awesomemod installed ctrl+shift click on the object, choose Object, choose Reset.
