@naniisundayo Does this happen when sims are playing a set, as a band can do? If you have Showtime installed, does the sound work for those careers? I ask because I haven't seen anyone report this particular problem, but the Showtime issue comes up every once in a while. There's no fix for that, as far as I know, but I'm not absolutely sure the two are related.

My sims are not in a band. This happens when sims "Start to Jam" and other sims "Join in on Jam". I do not have Showtime. But I do have Late Night installed.
@naniisundayo Right, I was wondering if you'd tested the band as well. Since I haven't seen other reports of this, I'm trying to figure out which performances are and are not affected.
I'll try it out with the sims as a band. I will also try having them perform in a venue. This happens while at home.
@naniisundayo Alright, thanks for testing. You could try a different sound output device, for example built-in speakers vs. headphones connected via jack, but I'm not sure there's any fix for this. It seems like just another feature that didn't get translated properly for the 64-bit version.
