ORIGIN WONT GO ONLINE but the site isn't don

Origin is online, it just won't let me go online. I'm connected to the Internet but it keeps telling be I'm offline. I press the go online button and still nothing. I've tried to uninstall it, restart...

Did you try starting Origin as administrator as well as turning off firewall and antivirus ?

  @rens153 Can I double check what steps you have taken? What anti-virus do you use?

    I don't think it's a virus related thing. I just got my computer and the same thing happened to me. I really would like some answers on how to fix this problem.
