"Please enter registration code"

Can you bypass the launcher to play? Click Computer C, to program files x86, to origin games, to the sims 3 file, to the game file, to the bin file. In the bin file you will find the TS3W file. Click on it and see if it will start your game. You can place a shrotcut to the TS3W file to your descktop should you be able to start your game that way. This will bypass the initial launcher

Ok that method of bypassing the launcher only works on games issued before 2012. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Origin? Also what patch number do you have on your launcher? It should be 1.67 listed in the bottom left hand corner of the launcher.

I have uninstalled my launcher and reinstalled it. I do have 1.67

Let me post in the helper's corner and maybe one of the helpers on here has a solution for you that I may not know.

What did EA say or do to help you ? Did they issue you new codes or simply said it was the issue everyone was having ?

They told me that's what everyone else was having. However, I don't think so. I may be wrong but it's just a feeling that what they said isn't right.

I'm inclined to agree with you since Sims was not on the list of games with this issue. Problem is that with the other issue going on, there was no way of telling which games ARE affected and which aren't. The issue definitley does seem to be fixed for Battlefield 3 but there's still a few other games that don't activate so maybe there's more to it.

I can't get any further info atm since CM are not around on the weekend.

Were you able to install the expansions ok ? Is it just the message on the launcher ? Have you been able to play with those EPs ?

Everything went smoothly. The game launcher launches perfectly too. When I click the "play" button that's when I get the message
