PLEASE HELP ME Sims can't travel, don't interact, NPC's don't appear

I'm having 2 problems in the game, actually 3.... One of the last times I played, I sent my sims to travel and their sim panel never appeared. They would do everything, but I couldn't see their moods, their inventory and such. I just went back home.
After that, everything seemed normal. I saved and left. The next time I played, I sent the "husband" to do some inventions and he caught fire. My solution for him not to die, was sending the "wife" (a witch) to give him a freezing spell, saving him. Again, I saved, and left. Yesterday I went to play, and everything functions normally except that the wife and husband can't interact. They interact with other sims, objects, dogs, cats, etc, but not with each-other.
Every-time I order an action (talking, kissing, whatever) the action simply disappears when they arrive next to the other one.... ☹️ I need a solution that doesn't involve starting over, or changing sims. They have all the abilities, wishes, life rewards, etc almost to the max....
Second problem - when I try to travel, the button appears faded and says "can't travel while a sim from your family is dying" .
This is why I explained that the husband was burning to death and I saved him with a spell, maybe the problems comes from there? some kind of bug....?! I tried resetting the sim with "testingcheatsenabled true" but it didn't work. I have onlt one mod in the game, the gardening gnome. Other than that, all my content is from the EA store. I ocasionally use "testingcheatsenabled true" for some emergencies, but after using it, I turn it off....
I also still don't know if my sims panel appears when I travel, because I can't travel right now.... but probably that problem is also still there.
So, in a nutshell - when i travel the sims panel disappears * Husband and wife don't interact * can't travel because a sim is dying (?) *

Which version of the Gnome are you using ? Dolphins' or the new one ? Dolphon's is no longer compatible with the game.
Other than that, sounds like your game corrupted. I would add the ErrorTrap and Overwatch mod and see if they can save anything. You need to google them as I'm not allowed to link.
