pressing play doesn't do anything...just from the first installation and update...please help!

i have windows 7 this is the First installation of the game and just completed the updated of course i have the original.just the base game via origin the only programm that is also open is irefox...

Do you have .net framework enabled in program and windows features?

  What is your base game version right now ?
  
  Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.

    i activated the .net framework but the problem remains..
    my version is 1.42.130.019037 if i update it to 1.67 then the launcher does not open either...i've tried to run ts3.exe from C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin but still nothing..
