Problem with purchasing simpoints

I am sorry you are having problems but I have a Chase Visa and bought DV and the purchase went right through. idk what the problem is but some people have been having problems. I can say it's not Visa as I have little to no problems with my card on any purchases. Is it the processing company EA uses to process the transaction - possible. More likely it may be the bank that underwrites your Visa card. EA does a $1 debit/charge to see if the account is valid. This transaction is recinded after the transaction finilizes. There may be a problem doing the $1 transaction (some people have said they saw the $1 transaction) or more likely trouble verifying the $1 transaction.
