some people have found if they DEP the game it solves this issue for them and others not so ( and IMO windows never seems to find a solution even if it's just a webpage that has decided to stop working )
this is what EA say about DEP it works for some people not for others also some people have found bypassing the launcher helps, some links added so you can research to see if it will help or not

I have a problem with the game "Sims 3". I have installed all the expansions. I was playing and suddenly, the game has closed. A window appeared above a black background saying something like "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I've looked for a solution online and there are more people in my situation but i can't find a real solution to solve my trouble, although it is true that there are not many options for internet helps other users because like me, nobody knows how to fix it.

(I have been playing during a long time with all the expansions installed so i think it's impossible that the problem was something in relation with requeriments of my system)
Ah! And once, i gave to my brother the game, he installed it and when i was gonna play in my own computer, the game didn't work so i have to unistall all the games. Now, i gave the game to a friend, so i dunno if my trouble can be something in relation with that. I read online problems about "instal The Sims 3 in several computers"

My operating system is Windows 7 The game crash random. I'm playing the game crashes all of a sudden and close with this message in a window: "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I usually play not much. Maybe three days per week but a few hours. Maybe next week, one day and 4 hours. It depends, but i have not time to play so not much at all.
I didn't use any mods or custom content

- You only have a 32 bit operating system which means, you can't use more than 2 GB of that RAM you have. For larger, long played games, this becomes an issue quickly.
- Can't say much about your CPU since it's an AMD and I really don't know much about them.
I think you can only play smaller worlds and on low settings. So try turning everything down to the lowest (including turning off mirror reflection and the resolution)
