Problems with RX 7900 XTX and Sims 3

Hi,

Game always turns out to trigger and Driver Time Out. Resulting in Freezing and sometimes BSOD.

I know that it is a AMD related problem with the GPU, I also have the GPU recognised by the game so thats not the problem, but still my game turns out to an error AMD Driver Timeout.

    Finally I have found the solution. my GPU was not properly recognized, but because I didn't get a notification and it said (matched 0, Found 1). I thought it was good.
    But after I used a mod to get the GPU to recognize it, it works fine.

    mafje  I'm glad that worked for you, but an unrecognized card really shouldn't have affected things nearly this much.  Most people can play without editing the .sgr files and barely notice a difference.  Still, it's good to have a fix.

    @ puzzlezaddict You are right. After 30 minutes I got the same error message again. Then I looked further into Windows Security and I noticed that the memory integrity was on. I turned it off and now I can keep playing. I haven't reported anything yet because I wanted to be sure that this was really the solution. But so far I've been playing for 12 hours with no problems.
    I don't know why memory integrity has such an effect.

    @ puzzlezaddict Last Update, 

    I reinstalled Windows 10 and couldn't get sims 3 to work every time it fell out with that error. memory integrity was gray and out. So I couldn't do anything with that. Back to windows 11 again. Again problems with driver timeout error. memory interaction turned off again and sims 3 works perfectly. So for me it's Windows 11 Home with memory intergity off.
