you could try this to get the baby back use the sim phone to adopt the baby back i usually run a household with a full house that way some sim runs to look after the baby the main thing is to always check the babies needs and send a sim to look after it even if you have to wake the sim up while you do whatever it is you need the main sim to do or if you have a small household make a sim that has traits like nurturing loves children kinda like a nanny
