Summarize your bug The sims 3 purchased content from the sims 3 store e.g. hidden springs, shows on the downloaded tab on the launcher, i can click to install, it installs and says successful, then when the game is launched, it is absent, and shows it as downloaded but not installed on the launcher. this comes after i uninstalled and re installed the game due to crashes and corrupted save files prompted me to try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? try installing downloaded content from the sims 3 store.
What happens when the bug occurs? all paid content is absent
What do you expect to see? the items I paid for installed and accessible
all of my saved files were corrupted, i tried repairing the software to no avail, I cleared the ea. app cache to no avail, I uninstalled the sims 3, then it did not allow me to install any expansion packs, i tried a trick seen on online threads to try purchasing a new expansion, to which I did, and it worked all the expansions installed but then all The sims 3 purchased content from the sims 3 store e.g. hidden springs, shows on the downloaded tab on the launcher, I can click to install, it installs and says successful, then when the game is launched, it is absent, and shows it as downloaded but not installed on the launcher.

@cameroman1981 Please try installing the worlds in a clean Sims 3 user folder. Move the entire existing folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop; if it copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, stop here and let me know.
Otherwise, open the launcher to spawn a clean folder. Download one world and install it, then see whether it loads in-game. If it does, download and install your other worlds, one at a time, and test them too. If everything works, you can install the rest of your Store content, then move any saves or other content you'd like to keep from the old Sims 3 folder to the new one.
