Re: Some of my EPs not installed

Hi there @divaroma,

If you're not able to purchase these packs from the EA app, it sounds like these packs need to be fully removed from your account. This can be done even if you no longer have access to the account from the retailer that you bought these codes from originally. 

If the live support team wasn't seeing the base game on your account, we'll want to have them check again, it's possible they missed that entitlement and didn't see it while they were looking things over. Without the base game, as @puzzlezaddict mentioned, you would not be able to access or play The Sims 3 at all. If you purchased the base game directly through the EA app/Origin, you should see that in your Order History on your account. 

Please reach back out to the live support team here so they can look this over again with you and remove those expansions from your account- I'd also recommend that you attach this conversation when you contact in so the live support team has something to reference when you speak with them. Let me know if you have any issues contacting the team there!

    @EA_Solaire I contacted Support (again), but it seems they cannot "see" the base game and the expansion packs on my account, so they cannot delete them(?). They suggested that I buy the packs (again), but I cannot. They believe it is a bug or something. 

    In short, they cannot help me. It is a bug that they cannot see any pack on my account (even the packs I bought from Origin/EA App). I do not know if this problem is related to the fact I maybe bought some bad codes.

    @EA_Solaire  Yes! And I still have the e-mail attached (from 2019) to it (Base Game, the Starter Pack). I indicated this and give the order number, but Support did not seem to find it? Or they said it was only for Sims 4 Create-A-Sim.

    @divaroma 

    Do you have 2 different EA accounts? It's possible your base game is registered to a different EA account than the one you're contacting in from if live support is not able to locate it.

    @EA_Solaire No, I have two emails attached to this account, that is it. No other accounts. And it is located in my Order History. And they checked both e-mails.

  • Support told me that they would contact me about the bug, still nothing. Their only reply is, in Arabic, that I need to contact them again if I still need help. I contacted Support already FOUR times, I am getting tired by explaining it over and over again and then be passed from pillar to post. 

    Problem so far

    1. I am not able to play these four EPs: World Adventures, Ambitions, Seasons and University Life, even though I could play them in the past. EA App recognizes these EPs as owned and installed. I must confess that some of my EPs and SPs are bought through Penguin (I cannot name the retailer here, but their symbol is a penguin) and maybe these codes are labeled as bad. I cannot checked these codes anymore, because I deleted my account after I was hacked. 
    2. What I want to delete these four EPs from my account, so I can buy them again (legit) from the EA App Store, because, right now, I cannot, because I "own them". 
    3. Support tells me that I do not own anything from the Sims 3, including the base game (which I bought through Origin and is viewable in my Order History). I am only using one account on Origin with two attached email adresses. Both of these adresses are checked by Support, neither of them has the Sims 3 Base Game. However, I can still play the Sims 3. The only EPs I cannot play are the EPs I mentioned before. 
    4. Support believes this is a bug and told me that EA would contact me soon to solve the problem (?). But I only thing I got is a message (in ARABIC) that I can contact Support (again) if I need help.

    Could you check the EA app again now and let me know if you're still unable to purchase those specific packs?

    So it looks like I can buy Ambitions and University Life again. World Adventures, Seasons and Diesel Stuff not.

  • Still have this problem! I can only buy University Life and Ambitions again in the shop. Just add World Adventures, Seasons and Diesel and I am happy.

    Hi @divaroma 

    For the remaining expansions, you'll need to find the original codes you had redeemed in Origin and provide those to the live support team so they can locate the expansions and help you remove those from your account.

    Hi @divaroma,

    Took a look at the account just now and I can't find any record of those DLC's you mentioned that aren't working. It sounds like the EA app is recognizing DLC's from another account that logged in on your PC perhaps?

    Without providing an advisor the email of the other account, or the CD key redeemed on your account, I'm afraid we won't be able to assist further in locating these.
  • @EA_Cade I have only one EA account, so I don't understand the problem. I just want to rebuy Seasons, World Adventures and Diesel if I have too.

    I get very tired of having to explain it over and over again. Currently, the EA App says that I possess the EPs Seasons and World Adventures and the SP Diesel. However, I cannot play them. What I want is the possibility to buy these packs again, because as of now, I cannot.

    I do not own any other EA Account.

    I do not have access to my codes, because I deleted my account from the site that I bought them from

    As I said before, without the code from the previously redeemed pack we will not be able to identify the issue that's occurring here.

    So what do you suggest I do then? I do not have access to the codes, I just want to rebuy the pack again from EA Store. Your colleague said this could be done without a code. It also happened with TS3 Ambitions and University Life.
