Installed Sims 3 and every time I try to run the game it asks for .NET Framework 3.5 but i can't install it on Windows 10???
Try this,
1. Put your Windows 10 DVD in or mount the ISO file.
Or simply download necessary files from the link below. (69MB)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pkn9WfWYRjDXefIw8v2TaYYeRumlUhoZ
1.1 Now extract the zip file you downloaded.
(Using the DVD or ISO file is recommended.)
2. Open CMD with administrator permissions.
3. Enter the following command line in CMD. (Just copy and paste :P)
Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:E:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
(Change the drive letter after "Source:" to your DVD/ISO drive letter or give the location for the 'sxs' folder if you downloaded the files from the above link.)
E.g:
If your DVD or mounted drive is G:,
Change Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:E:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
TO Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:G:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
-OR-
If you extracted zip file to "C:\DotNet3.5", location to the "sxs" folder will be "C:\DotNet3.5\sxs" :,
Change Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:E:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
TO Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:C:\DotNet3.5\sxs /LimitAccess
4. Now press Enter.
5. Restart after the installation finished.
Launch Sims 3 from Sims3.exe instead of Launcher. It acts wired on Windows 10.
Hope this helped. 😃
(Sorry for my bad English)
Edit: Also make sure you have Windows 10 Aniversary Update or later. They have got lots of bugs and compatibility fixes.
