Redeemed Sims 3 codes but wont download as says only available on windows?

Hi there,

I have recently downloaded my Sims 3 games on my new Apple laptop.

I have redeemed a few codes but they are not available to download and has the message 'Available on Windows'.

Please assist me with this urgently.

    It sounds like you're missing the 64-bit versions of these expansions on your account- while this isn't something I can check on for you over the forums, the live support team can review your account information a bit further and get the 64-bit versions of your packs added for you.

    If you already have the 64-bit version on your account, but you have DLC missing in The Sims 3 launcher, please see this thread as well for more information.

    @hbillows 

    You should be seeing the 64-bit version of these packs on your account now- please check your game library.

    Hi @EA_Solaire , thank you for your comment!🙂 I was in the Help chat multiple times already yesterday, and they could not do anything about it.

    Hi @ellenniek & @Jegvetikkenavnet 

    It sounds like you need to have The Sims 3 re-added to your account- this isn't something we can do for you over the forums as we don't have access to your account information, but the live support can take another look with you and check the entitlements on your account for The Sims. 

    Please submit a new help request to speak with live support from the site here. I'd also recommend you attach this AHQ conversation when you reach out there so live support has further information to reference. 

  • Almost the same here. I could not get The Sims 3 to work on my mac since about fall -23. With the EA-launcher I can get the main game to work somewhat, but none of the extension packs. It's like they are not there at all. Really annyoing. EA does not like Mac-people for some reason, lol.

    I was wondering if any of you have had this same issue. My Origin stopped working yesterday (other than having a banner that says I have to install the EA app instead), and when I switched to the EA app and tried to open my game, it said that I don't have the game installed (which I do, + 15 expansion/stuff packs). Because of this I uninstalled the game and made sure to copu and save all my game data in a separate file, but when I tried to re-install the game it just wouldn't go through. On the EA app in the product description they say that only computers that support 32-bit can run the sims 3, and having had multiple chats with EA Help they haven't been able to make the 64-bit version available that was present on Origin (through some trial and error ofc in traditional EA fashion). They told me yesterday that there is no way to know when the problem might be fixed but that it usually takes 24-72h, but at this point I am not very hopeful about this issue being fixed as I feel like EA doesn't really take the Mac problems seriously. So, neither Origin or EA App work for the sims 3 currently, please let me know if you have been able to fix this or have been given some extra information about this issue and/or its resolution.

    It is happening with sims 3 ambitions, generations and supernatural. I have purchased the games, they are appearing as 'unlocked' on origin, but I cannot install them. I have the sims 3 base game (64-bit), late night, seasons and world adventures installed and they are working fine. I am running the games on a Macbook Air M1 (2020). 

    No, I have not been able to access any live chat and I have had no response to the cases I have opened.

    Hey there @hbillows 

    Is this happening with all your packs, or only a few of them?

    Have you been able to connect to live chat to speak with an advisor about this yet, or is the chat not working for you? 

  • I have opened multiple cases with EA Support - it seems impossible to get any actual assistance.

    I have spent hundreds on The Sims 4 content and now trying to play old games that I own, but I can't install them! If someone could please help me I would be incredibly grateful. Surely there has to be a way to get access to content I have PAID for?
