I have a 20 digit key from the Humble Bundle page, so this is not the 16 vs 20 digit key issue. It doesn't work and gives me an invalid key error whenever I try to register the game through the Sims site.

hey happened the same to me, i posted here as well, eventually after 3 hours i tried again and the code worked. so keep trying. gl
