    @1st585  Custom content intstalled through the launcher is bundled into .dbc files in DCCache.  (Files with an .ebc extension are store content.)  You can copy over those files to the new Sims 3 folder, but make sure the files are numbered sequentially, starting with zero, or the game will stop reading after a number is skipped.  For example, if you have dcdb0, dcdb1, dcdb2, and dcdb4.dbc, the first three will be read, but the last one won't, because the dcdb3.dbc is missing.

    If you can't get the .dbc files to work, you can try the .package files in DCBackup, if you still have them.  (The file labeled ccmerged.package is different.)  These files are created when you install an item through the launcher too, and some people use them instead of the .dbc files.  They function like any other .package file when placed in Mods\Packages.
