Screen tearing WILL NOT STOP.

Hello recently I've downloaded The Sims 3 from steam and upon playing the game i noticed screen tearing, i tried looking this up only to find things about "nvidia control panel" and i do not have NVIDIA graphics nor control panel, i saw someone suggest radeon pro which worked but made my game crash and exit every 2 minutes. 

I'm a tech noob so ill just give all the graphics information i have that i can find..

13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1335U   1.30 GHz 

Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics

    officekittens  Some stuttering is inevitable with Sims 3, even on hardware that's overpowered for the game.  I can't tell from your description whether you're seeing the normal less-than-perfect performance or something else.  But as a test, please start a new save in Sunset Valley and let me know how it runs.

    Use the fps on cheat to see the fps counter in the upper-right corner of the screen, and give me an idea of what kind of framerates you see when the game is lagging and/or stuttering.
