script error: unable to get property length

@Lisa260792  This error shouldn't have any effect on the game because the launcher shouldn't be running.  What kind of install is this: EA App, Steam, disc, or something else?

Separately, does it help to take your computer offline before launching the game?  You can put the EA App or Steam in offline mode first if necessary, then disconnect before pressing Play.

thank you very much for replying to me.

i have the sims 3 on CD.. so I installed it on my computer which is a HP desktop with windows 10.

i also downloaded one extension package, and when i play the game i have to put in the original CD otherwise it won’t allow me to play.

do you have any other tips as to what to do because now that error comes up every 1 minute and shuts down the game, can’t play like this.

@Lisa260792  When you say you downloaded an expansion pack, did you download it from the EA App, or did you use a disc to install it?  This is important because it changes how the game is launched and what patch level you have.

Please do try playing with your computer offline, as I suggested in my previous post.  Even if you don't want to do so going forward, it's a useful test.

I downloaded them using discs.. but I found the problem, I opened the application and logged out then just clicked on start and it is now working without the error 😬😬😬 very happy,
