Searching the Exchange
I only have the Sims 3 base game, and a lot of items that come up for the different categories in the Exchange include Stuff Packs or Expansion Packs. That's why I went to Advanced Search on the left...

Usually you shouldn't actually need the stuff packs. The stuff from this packs that were used should be replaced by proxis. Lately, I'm not so sure if that's true though.
Did you try downloading any of the Sims/Lots ?
