Serial Key Not Working, Purchased from steam.

Hello guys! I have bought the Sims 3 on steam with the CD key, but when I went to register it I got an error saying an Invalid code. And I typed it right.

    @aelitastones388 In this case I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor as they can double check the code to see what might be happening.

@aelitastones388 Where exactly are you redeeming the code? Also is the code 20 digits long?

    I am redeeming it on the Sims 3 Store page and yes the CD key is 20 digits long.
