I too have the same problem. Apparently we're certainly not alone with this, and anyone who has either downloaded TS3 Showtime Katy Perry Collector's Edition from the Origin website or registered it first on the Origin site will not be able to register it again on the Sims 3 site. Nor will the game badge show up on the 'My Page' section of the Sims 3 site either. However, the game will have installed correctly as will the collector's edition/limited edition coded content (if you have redeemed the codes that came shipped with the game) and the expansion pack will be registered even though it doesn't appear to be. Just make sure the game appears on the Origin website under 'My Games'. To register and install the collector's and limited edition content go to www.thesims3.com then in the dropdown menu, 'My page', then 'My Account' and 'Redeem a code'. Then enter the 16-digit codes listed on the double sided sheet that came with the shop bought copy of the expansion pack. I'd imagine that if you bought a digital copy on the Origin website that they'd have emailed the additional content codes to you.
This is something EA/Origin have been aware of for many months, and although it is annoying and it would be nice to see a badge in your installed/registered games list, everything should work as normal. Hopefully EA will correct this little glitch in due time! 😕mileyfrustrated:
