Sim in my household dying?

So I have sims 3 supernatural, pets, into the future, late night, high end loft stuff and so when I travel into the future, I try to travel back and it says I can't travel while a sims dying. But nobody is dying? So I thought it was my dog and I tried getting rid of her then traveling and trying to come back but it doesn't work
All I have is my sim, 2 robots and a dog. I don't know what to do.
