My sim is at level 10 in the medical career and used to be on call regularly, but now it's been several sim weeks since the last time she was on call. It's not a huge problem but I'm just wondering if that's normal or not? I don't really mind that part of the career since it added realism to the game and made it a little challenging.

@Praktrosella It's been a long time since I played a sim in the medical career, so I don't remember either way, sorry. But looking at the game's tuning values, there's nothing that says level 10 sims shouldn't have a chance to be on call. It's possible the value is stored somewhere else though.
It's also possible your sim is just stuck, or the beeper is. If you use NRaas mods, you could try a MasterController reset of the sim; if you don't, you could try evicting the sim in Edit Town and placing her back in her house. The latter will wipe out her promised wishes and opportunities, although she'll keep her job and relationships.
On the other hand, maybe it's true that top-level doctors are exempt. If you're willing to wait a bit, I can test with one of my sims, but I won't have time until tonight or tomorrow. Let me know if you'd like me to test.

My sim has been on call at level 10 before, so I guess that shouldn't matter. I will try resetting the sim with MC and come back to tell if it made a difference or not.
