sim wont use telescope, cant use chessboard, etc...
I bought a new pc, and downloaded my sims 3 game onto it. I can no longer get my sim to use the telesope, or chess board. the chess board says you need a chair, and i put several different chairs there and none will work. when i tell him to use the telescope, he will go to it, and look for a second, then suddenly glitch and be away from it. Im sure there are other similar items like this that i cant use, but i couldn't progress far enough into the game to find out. (well, i could, but its no fun anymore) I have 2 copies of this game, and i would like to actually be able to use it, since i spent 140$ on it. (plus the expansion that i have) I tried uninstalling, and then reinstalling, and that didnt work. what can i do to get this to work? I saw some stuff online that indicated that i would have to buy another expansion set. I refuse to buy an expansion set, to get something to work, when it worked just fine for the past few years. Is there another patch i can download? or something else? i would appreciate being able to play my favorite game again. thx so much!
