sim wont use telescope, cant use chessboard, etc...

I bought a new pc, and downloaded my sims 3 game onto it.  I can no longer get my sim to use the telesope, or chess board.  the chess board says you need a chair, and i put several different chairs t...

i cant get the chairs to connect to the table.  and it was pointing in the right direction.  I dont use mods, and its a brand new pc.  Ive been playing sims for years and years, and ive never had an issue with getting the chess table to work.  everything works fine on my old pc, but not the new one.  i think it has something to do with the patch that i unfortunately installed.

I assume you tried different chess tables and different chairs ?

      Not sure what could be causing this then.

      Maybe someone else has an idea.
