Given I have nothing to do with EA other than being yet another mildly disgruntled customer I can't assure you of anything, I just copied and pasted some text.

That said, I'm fairly certain that yes, it will be sorted out, you do have a receipt after all. The question's just how long that's going to take.

Oh my mistake, I falsely thought you were an EA person >< Apologies.  Hopefully it is sorted soon, one could argue that since they are selling in the UK, we paid for something and are not getting what we paid for which I am fairly sure is a problem legally in the UK.

Sorry EAURSULA, but your solution doesn't "work" at all. I redeemed my 16 digit HumbleBundle Keys directly trough Origin last night, like 10 hours ago. According to your "Solution" I should be able to find the 20 digit Key the Installer is asking me now for, when I check the "Game's Details". Well, this doesn't work at all since it still shows the very same 16 digit key I got from Humble Bundle and I used to redeem the game in the Origin Client.

Please do not mark Threads as "solved" when they actually aren't solved AT ALL.

Everyone who only has a 16-digits code showing up in the Origin client will get a 20-digits code eventually. But as I said, that may take some time. Usually the tech team implements a search & replace routine, which means that we will search for all Sims 3 base games that have only 16-digits codes and automatically replace them with 20-digits codes.

It takes time to develop and implement that feature on our end. After that it will take a good amount of time for the search routine to run through the accounts. There are a loooooot of people who have bought the Humble Bundle after all. 😕mileywink:

All right... so do I understand this correctly - I redeemed my code on EA Sims3 website yesterday before the new page for redeeming was available, I have nothing in Purchase History but I WILL receive my game eventually?

I understand that but my problem is, I redeemed on The Sims 3 website and it shows there but does not show in my Origin Library, whilst trying to redeem it on Origin tells me that the code has already been used.  

"Enter your 16 digit code for your bonus content.
Accept the Digital Services Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
Click the green Redeem button."

Not Work...

Key is alredy used...  i add first on origin almost 14h ago...

Eaursula - an what about those who redeemed the code on thesims3.com? will they get their codes back/re-activated/new codes, too? if yes it will take a while of course...

You have still not answered the question you quoted, robbienewton1 asked if the game will show up in origin to download, the answer you have given is that if the game is already showing up in origin the cd key needed to install the game will be updated to a 20-digit one.

We want to know if we have already redeemed the 16-digit code from HB on thesims3.com will get the game in our origin library.

TL.DR:

You are avoiding the questions that need answered for everyone who purchased the bundle in the first few hours
