Sims 3 - Cannot redeem code for DLC

Hello there,

so after 2 hours of chatting mit EA i was sent here to report following bug: yesterday i bought following DLC for TheSims 3: Dragon Valley-World. I also got the code and the order confirmation.

The problem is, that i cannot redeem the code. Origin and EA say, that i have to redeem the code on following website: thesims3.com.

If i try to redeem the code there, it says, that it has already been used. But the problem is, that in Origin the DLC is not listed as owned. It still has the button for purchase. And i didnt redeem it. I can´t redeem it.

I can´t redeem the code anywhere, i can´t download the DLC.

What can i do? Get a new code? Get the code reactivated?

    Thanks for this info! These World codes do need to be redeemed on TheSims3.com, so if you used the code in Origin instead, that code would now be invalid. 

    You'll need to get in touch with the live support team so they can get a refund processed for you on this purchase for this World- please get in touch with live support via Twitter or Facebook. If you have any issues getting in touch with live support there, be sure to let me know!

    Yes, i purchased Dragon Valley directly from Origin. That´s why i thought, that i have to redeem the code in Origin.

    After entering the code i got the information, that i have to redeem this code on the official Sims3-website. There my problem started because there i got the information, seen in the screenshots, that it has already been used, which is not possible. Other than in Origin i didn´t try to use the code.

    Ah, okay, thank you for the info. Didn´t know that if you use the code in Origin which needs to be redeemed on the official Sims3 website, that it gets invalid.

    Thank you for the help and the time. I got in touch with the live support on Facebook and got the DLC refunded.
