Mods folder causing launcher issues

Question

I just got back to the sims 3 and want to have a few mods but when I tried to download the mod folder from this site

https://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Setup_and_Files

it wouldn't download and then I tried this site

https://help.thesimsresource.com/article/155-the-sims-3-resource-cfg-file

my launcher would keep shutting down when I tried to click on it. It would just completely fail. I don't know what to do, please help?

simmerkaylak​&nbsp; I would suggest removing the files you've downloaded and creating your own Mods framework.&nbsp; Please see this post for specific instructions and a link to a known-working Resource.cfg:
