There's a file in DCBackup called ccmerge.package. Did you by chance delete it ?
For the Multitab: They put it away but you see a little blue flashing in their ear and they have a moodlet that they are listing. Do you not have those ?

No, if you delete it the stuff doesn't work correctly anymore.

I don't know.
I know that if you delete that file, you will have issues but if you didn't do that, I have no clue why it works for some and not for others.
Maybe someone else has an idea.
