Sims 3 / Won't launch / Windows 10

Question

Hi guys . Please help . Okay so I purchased the sims 3 starter pack yesterday (3 February 2022) and now today (4 February 2022) I have been trying to play it but if I want to it just goes to my home screen and back to the origin app where the sims 3 is displayed infront of me ... i did uninstall my origin and i did uninstall my sims 3 and i downloaded it again but it just did it again and didn't want to load the game .I also tried doing the "Troubleshoot compatibility"/"Run as administrator ".I have a windows 10 .

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@golddoodle2&nbsp; Please try reinstalling DirectX 9, as described in the post I linked previously.&nbsp; If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post, as in the second link.&nbsp;&nbsp; I actually need to read the dxdiag: it's a diagnostic report, not a troubleshooting step in and of itself.
