Sims 3 Ambitions firefighter career glitch

In The Sims 3 Ambitions firefighter career there is a glitch when going to put out a house fire of any size where the action just cancels out. Can anybody help with this as it is really annoying and I can't play that career as a result.

Any help or ideas appreciated.

    Same, every time my sim gets called to a fire, it automatically cancels out. I have been leveling up though.

    The fire fighter career is just really bugged.

    But I wonder if this could also be a corrupt career outfit issue.

    Try giving him a custom career outfit and see if it works then. You can then delete it again and that should restore the original.
