Do you have 32 bit or 64 bit Windows ?
You do only have 4 GB. Windows uses at least 1 GB of that which leaves you with 3. If you also have background programs running that amount is decreased as well so it's very well the game does not get as much RAM as it needs.
I am running 64bit I want to upgrade my RAM but I am financially unable to at this time. Is there any other way besides CCleaner to clean up any background programs? It doesnt seem to be a major issue the ony time it boots me out of the game is when AVG or Malwarebytes yells at me to update. Their pop ups I guess put me over my RAM capacity so as long as I keep that up to date (which is best practice anyways) I will only get a warning. This game has alot of glitches I dont know If I am gonig to want to buy The Sims 4.

@ewallace07278 I have malwarebyte and avast but I set malwarebytes not to run on start up and only runs when I tell it to If i want to play my game I set the antivirus to silent gaming mode which stops the pop ups while playing I right click the avast icon in the taskbar and select silent gaming mode I don't know if avg has that so you could try that and see if it make a difference i even have origin set to not auto launch in the start up I have to manually click it to launch
In the Search programs and files box, type msconfig and click on the msconfig icon that appears. When the System Configuration window appears, click on the Startup tab. Then uncheck those programs you wish not to start and click Apply
