Just the basic version I think.
- Do you have the 32 bit Version or the 64 bit one ?
64 bit.

New computer with Windows 8 Pre-installed.
- Which of the EPs/SPs do you have installed ?
When problem first occurred, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night. Problem began after installation of Late Night.
- What Patch level are you at (base game) ?
1.17 (Was going to patch up and install more EP's but then I noticed this problem)
- Do you have any Store content or CC/mods added ?
No Store Content, CC or mods.
- Did you try out any of the beta/consumer preview versions and did you have any issues with those ?
No.
- What graphic card do you have and which driver version are you running ?
AMD Radeon HD 7420G
Driver version is 8.982.7.0
Date is 08/08/2012
- What symptoms are you seeing (try to be as detailed as possible)
Black screen except lots - already mentioned I believe.
- Anything else you like to add.
Had already installed Base, World Adventures, and Ambitions with no problem. The black screen on map view appeared after installing Late Night. On installing he Base game I was warned that the Video card was not recognised, and that the settings would be put to the highest possible. Which worked fine until Late Night was installed. Then it put the settings to the lowest possible, and no matter how many times I change the settings and save, it rolls them back to the mimimum each time. Although some settings are enabled that the options menu tells me are disabled - such as edge scrolling and autonomy. Seeing as I'm having no crash problems, I can only assume it's that my graphics card doesn't get along with Late Night... But then again I uninstalled Late Night and the black screen on map view problem remained and the settings still have a will of their own.

Installed memory (RAM): 6.00 GB (5.47GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating Syystem, x64-based processor

Basically I have the exact same problem that LunaWolf53 has. (Page 5)
