Sims 3 and Windows 8 - An Analysis

Hey guys, I'm really curious to why some people have no issues at all and others can't even start the game. It seems, that people with the 32 bit version have no issues, 64 bit seems to be a dif...

    Right click on sims icon on your desktop (I only did my most recent EP, which is seasons)

    Go to properties

    There's a thing that says compatibility mode, with a drop down bar.

    I put windows 7, and checked the box that says run this program in compatibility mode for:

I really think this is all we've needed to do all along, and I'm hoping my game still works.

I also run my game in offline mode, and that seems to help as well!
