Sims 3 black screen

Hello . sum few days ago i buy and downloaded the sims 3 everthing was good until i downloaded mods and ccs with it and when i open it for the 2-4 time its open and leaves me on a black screen . im confused on why is sims 3 doing that mind u i play ts3 on steam not on the ea app and it said something about i download something that was not meant for the sims 3 so i need help asap .

You’ve most likely downloaded a mod or CC that isn’t made for The Sims 3 — you’ll need to remove it. If you can’t figure out which one is causing the issue, I recommend downloading the Sims 3 Dashboard tool. It can scan and find incompatible mods and custom content for you.
