Hi everyone I'm hoping someone can help me!
I have downloaded some cc to my game but none of it will show up in create a sim, but I know its working since I have a custom loading screen and the no intro mod and they both seem to work? ive even went down to trying it with one piece of clothing and still nothing.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I am also on MacBook fyi :)
amieecam123 What kinds of files are these, .Sims3Pack or .package, and where did you put them? Did you delete the five cache files in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 after adding the content?
They are .package and yes I did delete my cache files. I put them in my mods folder which I downloaded which I put in my sims 3 folder.
I'm having a similar issue. What do I do after I delete those 5 cache files? Do I have to quit the game and relaunch?
amieecam123 They need to be inside a Packages folder that's inside Mods, just as your nointro mod is. And in case you haven't already, please check whether the cc items are simply in a different clothing category or for a different age group than you expected.
If this doesn't help, please link some of the items so I can test them.
Mandypants7 You need to delete the cache files with the game closed, then open it and test again. If this doesn't help, please describe your exact issue.
