So years ago when the Sims 3 came out I purchased almost every pack! I still have all of the cases and disks and codes. It's been so many years that I can not for the life of me remember the email and password used for my old origin account. The game wont let me use my serial codes again because they've already been used.
About 4 years ago I contacted EA Support and ended up on a 3 day back and forth phone call. They basically told me that yes they can see all of my games they can see all account information including my email address but because I can not remember my email address to tell them they can not tell me my email address to log me in. So basically they see my account but cant do anything about it. I've gone over every email I can remember. They also emailed me a link to help to my new email address but I never received the email and they basically said oh well we can't help you.
I do not and will not buy they games all over again but I really want them on my new origin. Does anyone have anyway that they can help me? Is there anyway to reuse the codes fromthe original packaging or is it all a lost cause and I should just trash the games?
@OpheliaBubbles You could always try contacting EA customer support again. A support rep might be able to give you the first two letters of the email address to help jog your memory. (By the way, is it possible you used a parent's or sibling's email at the time?) There are also ways to try to recover an account, but you'd need to know a lot of info about that account, so I'm not sure it would work in your case.
Other than that, there's no way to use the product keys again and therefore no way to add the game to your current account. However, if your base game disc was manufactured before September 2012, you could install the game via disc and leave Origin out of it entirely. Check the fine print on the back of the case for a date; the newer boxes also usually have an Origin logo somewhere. If you'd like help with an all-disc install, let me know.
