Sims 3 Crashing on Mac

Hi there! My Sims 3 (all DLC) crashes on my MacBook Air 2023 M2 (8GB memory) on MacOS Sequoia version 15.1.1 whenever I use the scroll wheel. Using the bracket keys to rotate does not seem to cause crashes, however, using a wireless Logitech mouse scroll wheel seems to cause a no-warning sudden crash.

    HoneyBeeMart  Does this happen if you use the trackpad to scroll, with two fingers swiping up or down?  Does it happen in both fullscreen and windowed modes?
