Sims 3 crashing when i get to the load town screen..

Hello, I just wondered if you could shed some light on this problem, it seems to be common on the forums but it;s preventing me even getting into the actual game.. Honestly, its getting to about 98%...

@shannonp93  @kiittykatpawsmew  Most problems that prevent the game from starting are caused by cc/mods and corrupt saves. A fast test is to try the factory reset - link - Sims 4 factory reset  If the game runs after you try the reset that you tell you that the game core files are ok and you have issues in the user files.
