Sims 3 Dlc and Updates Install Problem *PS3*

This is for my ps3. I got the Sims 3 game and was going to play it but it had to update. The top bar got to 40% and the bottom got to 28% then it froze. I turned my T.V. off for about 15 minutes and it was 100% on both bars. I waited for and hour and it still didn't launch the game. So i deleted the game data utility and trued it again and it still didn't work. Does anybody have any tips on how to get it to work? Thanks
